Inspired by Gachapon capsule machines, Gacha Gacha ART series 1 is a fun way to collect unique art on the blockchain by amazing established and emerging artists from around the world! You'll be surprised and excited about your new NFT-based art piece, whether it's the one you were hoping for or not. The Gacha Gacha ART community offers a way to trade and sell your pieces to get all of the ones you want. Good luck!
Series 1 features 9 different artists, each contributing 25 total pieces.
We learned a lot from our other project over at Dumpling Pets so we've decided to keep the pricing at a flat .1 ETH for this series, regardless of how many units sell.
No FOMO, only ART!!
There are 2500 total pieces of non-generative art sized at 3040 x 3040 in this series. Each artist created 25 total pieces, 5 from each artist are considered ultra rare. With these numbers in mind, it is possible if not likely you'd pull a duplicate or two depending on how many you purchase.
While we always hope to avoid anyone getting a duplicate, it's the nature (and fun) of Gachapon. We hope the Gacha Gacha ART community comes together on our Discord channel and on social to trade with each other and sell those duplicates to collectors who are looking!
We are planning on giving away the first ten capsules out of the machine. That means that the creators are not holding back any capsules for themselves. The first ten NFTs minted will be used in giveaways as follows:
Post your Gacha Gacha ART on Twitter or Instagram and tag them #Gachaponxyz before July 1st,2021, get an entry for the first capsule out of the machine. More posts = more entries.
First person to collect one Gacha Gacha ART from every artists gets the second capsule out of the machine. Make sure you send us a message on twitter (@gachapon_xyz) when you get all ten.
On Twitter tag @gachapon_xyz and post your tx hash showing the Gacha Gacha ART changing hands and both addresses get an entry for the third capsule out of the machine.
Every 500 capsules sold will trigger a random drawing of wallets that own Gacha Gacha ART. The fourth at 500, the fifth at 1000, the sixth at 1500, the seventh at 2000, and the eighth at 2500.
Once we have sold all 2500 capsules we will give the person who owns the most Gacha Gacha ART number nine and the last person to purchase a capsule number ten.
As you can see the more capsules you buy the more chances you have to win a free capsule that will be airdropped to your wallet. Make sure you you follow us on twitter so you know when the drawings are happening so you can make sure you have some Gacha Gacha ART in your wallet.
Gacha Gacha ART is a collaborative art project featuring nine artists creating multiple artworks. Inspired by Gachapon machines in Japan that give out random capsule toys, buying a Gacha Gacha ART will get you one random NFT created by one of the artists. There is a chance to get duplicates as well as a chance of getting a one off.
NFTs may seem new, weird, and confusing, but they really aren't terribly different from designer toys, trading cards, and capsule toys. You're not really sure what you're going to get, but it will be awesome and therein lies the fun!
The first thing you need to do is connect you wallet. We like Rainbow and Metamask, but there are a lot of wallets you can use. Second, you need to have ETH in your wallet to purchase the Capsule. Remember that there is a transaction fee (gas) with every transaction on the blockchain. A couple minutes after you purchase the Gacha Gacha ART will appear in your wallet.
Of course you can! You can purchase one, five, or ten capsules. If you buy ten capsules you have a chance to get one artwork from each artists (not guaranteed to happen as they are spread randomly through out the 2500). Plus the more capsules you have to trade with your friends and fellow capsule fiends.
There are undoubtedly some issues around the ecological impact of cryptocurrencies and NFTs. This is why we are partnering with Spark Eco to help offset the ecological impact of any dumplings that are minted.
No matter what happens, we are going to give 4% of proceeds to Spark Eco to distribute to non-profits working on environmental issues and proof of stake research.
We would like to say that we are the first people to come up with this Gachapon Machine idea – but in this fast-paced NFT space we weren't! Doki Doki have been doing capsule machines that have similar prizes to a traditional Gacha Gacha machine. We love what they are doing!
Gacha Gacha Art is a bit different. We are focused on partnering with artists to allow them to sell their art as NFTs easily.
